Graphics - free clipart

Years and years ago, clipart featured heavily on the web. The small filesize of optimized gif files was what was needed in the old dialup days. With broadband now widespread, page loading speed is less of a concern, and the larger size of photo realistic jpg images are no cause for real worry.

Still, if clipart is what you want, clipart you shall have... but expect to see a lot of repeated content.

DeviantArt Images, photos, tutorials... and so, so much more.

FreeClipartPictures An extensive collection, categorized in some detail.

FreeVectorDownload Vector images are harder to find than the more traditional raster images - if it's vectors you're after, this is a good place to start.

Icon Archive A large collection of icon sets suitable for navigation systems in a variety of styles.

OpenClipArt.org A free and Creative Commons project, at the moment not really suitable for searching.
